Launched in Summer 2026, The Music Academy is delighted to offer private lessons at select senior residential communities in State College. Select TMA Faculty will be going on site to teach piano, strings and voice lessons to seniors of all experience levels. This program is ideal for seniors who appreciate the convenience of learning music lessons on-site at their retirement facility.

FALL 2026: August 31 to January 16
SPRING 2027: January 24 to May 29
Students receive 17 lessons each semester, scheduled on the same day and time each week (excluding holidays). Our calendar is carefully structured to ensure that every student receives exactly 17 lessons, regardless of which day of the week their recurring lesson falls.
Joining Late? Tuition will be pro-rated for students who begin after the semester begins.

30-minute Lessons:
$50/lesson, billed on the 1st of every month
Or pay for entire semester upfront: $850
45-minute Lessons:
$67/lesson, billed on the 1st of every month,
Or pay for entire semester upfront: $1,139
60-minute Lessons:
$90/lesson, billed on the 1st of every month
Or pay for entire semester upfront: $1,530
Registration Fee: $50, due once per academic year to both new and returning students.
NEW! Receive a $10 discount on your registration fee when you enroll in both Fall AND Spring semesters at the same time.
Trial Lesson (optional): 30 mins for $47. Can't decide what instrument to play? Consider taking a trial lesson. At the trial lesson you will review musical goals and try out your instrument! (Note: for instruments other than piano or voice, student must rent or own an instrument).
