Private Lessons begin September 2!
Dear Students and Parents, we have exciting news! Our new web-based registration platform, Opus1, will create a streamlined experience, allowing you to:
Access your TMA account anytime from desktop or mobile
Manage your payment methods, view your calendar, and receive reminders for upcoming lessons
Register for the entire 2025-2026 year, avoiding the hassle of re-registering each semester (private lessons only)
Enroll in monthly auto-billing to ease the financial commitment of tuition costs
Sign up for recitals and other special events
Subscription-based Billing (NEW!): To help spread out the burden of private lesson tuition costs over time, The Music Academy is moving to a subscription-based model where students are auto-billed monthly via credit card or ACH/bank account.*
Full-Year Enrollment (NEW!): By default, our new booking system will enroll you in the FULL 2025-2026 academic year (36 private lessons, billed monthly), helping you avoid the hassle of re-registering next semester. Your monthly subscription will automatically end at the conclusion of The Music Academy's academic year, June 8, 2026.
Helpful Tip! Opt for a DEBIT CARD intead of a credit card to remove the 3% surcharge. Please note that when self-booking, your initial payment must be paid with a debit or credit card; however, all future payments may be paid via ACH/Bank Account if you desire. To do this, update your your preferred payment method in your Opus account.
Payment Schedule: Your first payment will cover your first month of lessons, plus the annual sign-up fee. All future invoices will be automatically charged on the 1st of the month, based on the number of lessons scheduled for the upcoming month. If auto-billing is not successful, a late fee of $20 will be applied.

*Important Note: TMA's new monthly payment plan is a convenient way to spread out the cost of tuition via monthly installments. It is important to understand that this is not a 'pay-as-you-go' arrangement. Our strict withdrawal policy still applies and monthly payments will still continue for the entire term, even if the student decides to cease taking lessons. Please see below for important notes and FAQs regarding payment options.
