for students outside of The Music Academy
Perform with TMA!
In an effort to foster a Suzuki community in the State College area, our Suzuki Partnership Program provides unique opportunities for students who are studying with Suzuki instructors outside of The Music Academy. We invite violin, cello, and guitar students to join our Suzuki group classes, recitals, and community appearances throughout the academic year at The Music Academy!
We offer two tracks:
1. PERFORMANCE TRACK - $75 for the academic year, due prior to participation in your first concert
Unlimited participation in 2024-2025 TMA Solo Recitals, TMA Suzuki Group Concerts, as well as multiple public Suzuki performances in the community announced throughout the year. Open to guitar, violin, and cello. Payment is due prior to participation in your first performance; see dates below.
2. PERFORMANCE & GROUP CLASS TRACK- $250 per semester (violin and cello only)
Participation in weekly Suzuki Group classes at TMA (15 per semester) and Suzuki Group Concerts-- as well as multiple public Suzuki performances in the community announced throughout the year. Please note that this track does not offer participation in TMA Solo Recitals. Payment is due at time of first class; see dates below.

Saturday, November 23 at 1pm - Suzuki Group Class concert
Sunday, November 24 at 4pm: Suzuki performance at the Barnes & Noble book fair
Saturday, January 18th, 2025: Solo Recitals at 11am, 12:30pm, & 2pm
Sunday, January 19th, 2025: Solo Recitals at 2:30pm & 4pm
2. PERFORMANCE & GROUP CLASS TRACK:
Saturday, November 23 at 1pm - Suzuki Group Class concert
Sunday, November 24 at 4pm: Suzuki performance opportunity at the Barnes & Noble book fair
Tuesday, November 26 - Sunday, December 1: No Lessons, Thanksgiving Holiday
Monday, December 23 - Saturday, January 4: No Lessons, Winter Holiday
Make-up class dates: December 23; January 2-4
Sunday, January 5: Lessons resume
Saturday, January 25: Last Day of Fall Semester
