Private Music Lessons
No matter your age or experience level, you are welcome at The Music Academy! We offer traditional music instruction at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels in more than a dozen disciplines. While many of our students may be seeking a professional music career, others are interested in "playing for fun." Our primary objective is to help you realize your personal best.
30, 45, or 60-minute lessons for a total of 18 lessons per semester

Our passionate, talented faculty members hold degrees in the instruments they teach, ensuring that you and your family will receive the highest level of instruction available. All faculty and staff have passed background checks as required by the PA Department of Education.
Performance Opportunities
Our 18-week semester culminates in a solo recital! Hop on stage and share your new skills with friends and family in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. We also offer numerous opportunities throughout the year to perform for the public at fun community events.

Note: Due to the nature of vocal development, these lessons are only recommended for ages 12+.
Suzuki Program
We recommend the Suzuki Method for beginning string players ages 3-8. Our Suzuki Program consists of a weekly private lesson plus a weekly group class with peers.
Tuition Information
Fall 2024
All rates are based on an 18-week semester:
30-minute lessons: $45/lesson for 18 weeks
Total of $810/semester, due by September 10.
Or two payments ($515 by September 10 + $315 by November 13)
45-minute lessons: $60/lesson for 18 weeks
Total of $1,080/semester, due by September 10.
Or two payments ($660 by September 10 + $440 by November 13)
60-minute lessons: $80/lesson for 18 weeks
Total of $1,440/semester, due by September 10.
Or two payments ($880 by September 10 + $580 by November 13)
REGISTRATION FEE (applies to new and returning students):
$45 for first family member
$10 for second family member
Waived for any additional family members

How do I select the date/time of my weekly lesson?
Your weekly private lesson time will be established with your instructor.
If you do not yet have an assigned instructor, please complete the form below and we will assign one to you.
What if the semester has already started? Can I enroll late?
Prorated Tuition is available, please contact us!
The two-payment option is not available when beginning lessons after the first week of the semester.
