He began learning the guitar at the age of 13 and continues to pursue new areas of growth as a musician, composer, and educator.
Since 1964, we have been the region's leading community music school. We encourage students of all ages and skill levels to come enjoy music in a supportive, nurturing environment. All of our superb faculty and staff have passed background checks as required by the PA Department of Education.
Is this camp geared for acoustic guitar or electric guitar?
Either! The camp is primarily based on acoustic style, but students can learn the basics on the electric guitar, if that is what they already have.
I don't have an instrument yet. Where can I purchase or rent a guitar? We are happy to share advice and point you in the right direction! Please indicate this on your registration form.
How many children can enroll?
Camp is limited to 8 spots. If the first session fills quickly, we may open up a second session at a later time. We will also have a wait list if needed.
What if I need to cancel? Will I receive a refund?
The tuition price of $315 includes a non-refundable $30 registration fee to cover the cost of materials. We can offer a partial refund ($285) up to 14 days before the start of camp. If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may notify the next student on the wait list. See more policies here.
What do I need to bring?
Tuition includes lesson book and class materials. Students must bring their own acoustic or electric guitar. If you choose to bring an electric guitar, please bring a small amp if you have one. We also recommend packing a water bottle and a snack each day.
Additional Notes:
All participants will receive a confirmation email upon enrollment. Payment is due right away to hold your spot, so please be sure to Venmo or submit a check payment at your earliest convenience. (Instructions found in the Registration Form).
We will send a Welcome Letter with more instructions two weeks before the start of camp.
Group classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not reached. In this case, all registrants would receive a full refund.
