The Music Academy Pre-School Department

Music Play! (birth to 5 years): a unique aural-training program for the young child developed by Dr. Joanne Rutkowski, Penn State professor and internationally-recognized early child specialist.

Tuition: $100 for the first child and $80 for siblings.

Each course requires attendance three times a week. Our expectation is that most of the learning will take place in class. Home practice or parental monitoring is not required.

Monday - Wednesday - Friday ($324)
3-4 year-olds: 3:30-4:00 pm
3-5 year-olds: 5:00-5:30 pm

Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday ($324)
3-4 year-olds: 3:30-4:00 pm (T/Th) and 10:15-10:45 am (Sat)

Piano lessons at 15 min ($245/semester) or 30 min a week ($490/semester) are offered for our youngest musicians (taught by Carol Pharo, Kevin Sims, and Lauren Kooistra). Suzuki violin instruction:
The well-known Suzuki system for violin instruction is taught by Emily Hale. There are 18 weekly lessons of 30-min ($490/semester) and 14 group lessons ($100/semester). Pre-school drumming/percussion:
Taught by Kevin Sims (Thursdays) and Eric Rozzi (Saturdays). 30-min lessons are $490/semester.
